Dental Implant Process and Timeline
Dental Implant surgery is a procedure that replaces damaged or missing teeth with artificial teeth that look and function like your own natural teeth. Long-lasting titanium screw-like posts are used to replace missing or damaged tooth roots.
(Free) Dental Implant Consultation
We use a team approach for coordinated care when it comes to Dental Implants. During your initial consultation, we will develop an individualized treatment plan that is suited to your specific needs. We will answer any questions you may have and discuss options for your complete comfort during the Dental Implant procedure, such as Sedation (Sleep) Dentistry.
Dental Implant Costs
AXIS Dental Group offers dental implant and surgery for $1,200 per implant, which is 50% less than other providers.
Whether it’s one tooth or all of your teeth, we can remove your old teeth, insert the implants and add the temporary crowns – all in the same day for $1,200 per implant (excludes prosthetic component (crown) and bone graft procedures).
Dental Implant Surgery Procedure
During your first Dental Implant appointment, your old tooth/teeth will be removed and the tooth root implant (made of durable titanium) will be placed into the bone socket of the missing tooth. Temporary crown(s) are then added. As the jawbone heals (anywhere from 6-12 weeks), it grows around the implanted metal post, anchoring it securely in the jaw.
During subsequent Dental Implant appointments, impressions of your teeth will be made in order to make your new tooth/teeth. These impressions accurately record all of your teeth, their type, and the arrangement in your mouth. Your new implanted tooth will be based on this model and your new tooth will be colour matched to your natural teeth. A small connector post (abutment) will be attached to the implant post to firmly hold the new artificial tooth.
Results of Dental Implant Surgery
Your new implant supported teeth, whether it is one tooth or several teeth, function, look and feel like natural teeth. You will immediately speak, smile and eat with confidence. Your implant supported teeth will be comfortable and they will stay in place. And most importantly dental implants do not need adjacent teeth for support.
