Dental Implant Process Timeline

When you have missing or broken teeth, your oral health can be adversely affected and that can impact your overall health and well-being. Patients tell us it is more painful to have a tooth extracted than have a dental implant surgically inserted.

At AXIS Dental Group, we provide a caring environment focused on the complete comfort of patients, especially those experiencing fear or anxiety. One way we achieve this is by offering patients the option to be asleep or sedated during their dental treatment. This procedure, known as Sleep Dentistry, Dentistry Asleep or Sleep and Sedation Dentistry, involves an appropriate level of sedation so that the patient is unconscious or asleep. The dental procedures are then performed while you’re in this state. We have Anaesthetists and Registered Nurses on staff.

Dental Implants offer a welcome alternative to loose dentures or uncomfortable bridgework. Made of durable titanium, Dental Implant posts fuse themselves into the jawbone reducing the negative impact of bone loss, including a sunken or sad face.

Types of Dental Implants

Dental implants can support a variety of dental restorations:

  • Single tooth replacements: one implant and one crown replace a single tooth.
  • Multiple tooth replacements: multiple missing teeth can be replaced with multiple implants supporting fixed bridgework.
  • Combinations of fixed and removable bridgework: implants support a section of fixed bridgework, to which a removable section is attached.
  • Over-dentures: where two or more implants provide stabilization of a denture (set of removable false teeth).
  • ALL-ON-4 Dental Implants: A graftless solution that provides patients with a fixed full-arch prosthesis on the day of surgery.
  • Anchors for tooth movement (orthodontics): temporary implants can serve as very stable anchor units for orthodontic devices to allow quicker and easier tooth movement.

Dental Implant Costs and Savings

AXIS Dental Group offers dental implant and surgery for $1,200 per implant, which is 50% less than other providers.

Whether it’s one tooth or all of your teeth, we can remove your old teeth, insert the implants and add the temporary crowns – all in the same day for $1,200 per implant (excludes prosthetic component (crown) and bone graft procedures).
