Leadership Team
At AXIS Dental Group, we believe that every employee is capable of being their own supervisor. Each staff member has been provided with the tools and resources to complete their own self-evaluations to assess how they’re doing.
Our Leadership Team consists of a group of Co-ordinators that have been put in place to help support and guide our staff members on a daily basis. The Leadership Team meets with each team member on a monthly basis to touch base and assess that they’re meeting the needs of both patients and colleagues.
Dental Hygienists
Our Dental Hygienists are your partner in maintaining your oral health; we’ll work with you to help you meet your specific dental needs. We have several different hygienists to choose from, each with their own unique personality but with the same goal in mind – to serve you to the best of their ability.
Our Dental Hygienists will be with you every step of the way and will create a treatment plan for your ongoing oral health. We not only provide cleanings and periodontal scaling but also consultations for almost every cosmetic and major treatment we offer. Please don’t hesitate to ask us anything. We’re here to keep you on the right track for a healthy, happy smile.
Dental Assistants
When you arrive at our office to see the dentist, one of our highly competent Dental Assistants will take care of you. They’ll ensure you’re comfortable and relaxed and will answer any questions you might have about the work to be completed.
Dental Assistants act as the Dentist’s right hand in the office, supplying them with all materials needed to improve your oral health. They perform x-rays, instrument sterilization, procedure setup plus deliver oral hygiene instructions to our patients.
Treatment Co-ordinators
We’re very fortunate to have a group of very talented Treatment Co-ordinators on staff. They can help you better understand your dental treatments, cost, and insurance coverage in order to avoid any surprises to your pocket book.
We’ll sit down with you and review the estimates we receive from your insurance company, outlining your specific financial obligations. We’ll then setup any follow-up appointments to suit your schedule. We can also discuss our Financing Options with you at this time.
Front Desk Team
Our friendly Front Desk team is always eager to assist with anything you may need. Whether you phone us or drop by the office, there will always be a smiling face here to greet you. One of our team members will greet you upon your arrival, and we’ll endeavour to keep your wait to a minimum.
The Front Desk team understands that each patient has their own unique needs. Our knowledgeable staff will go out of their way to accommodate and answer any questions you might have regarding your insurance coverage or the treatments we offer. They’ll also help book your next treatment or regular cleaning and provide a reminder call prior to your appointment.
